The models can be viewed in the main airport terminal during regular operating hours. The collection, maintained by the Las Cruces Museum System, contains models of air and sea vessels of several historic battles, particularly those of World War II. Mitchel, a longtime resident of Las Cruces and former member of the Airport Advisory Board, donated the collection to the City in 2014.
